George Jones

George Jones is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in the financial services sector. Currently serving as the Sr Technical Platform Operations Lead at Allspring Global Investments since April 2023, George previously held the position of Sr Director, Investment Technology at Galliard Capital Management from November 2007 to April 2023. In this role, George managed application development, data management, project management, and production support teams, ensuring alignment with organizational strategic goals and compliance with Wells Fargo technology practices. Prior to Galliard, George worked as a Financial Management Technology Manager at Securian Financial Group and as a Sr Business Analyst at Midwest Group - Thrivent Financial. George earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from Augsburg University between 1984 and 1987.
