Lon McPhail

Lon McPhail is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in information security and strategic management. At Allspring Global Investments, Lon served as Chief Information Security Officer and Deputy Chief Information Security Officer, in addition to a role as Senior Business Manager. As Chief Executive Officer at get(talent), Lon focused on providing precise execution to Private Equity, Venture capital, and Global 1000 clients. Lon also held the position of Managing Partner at Level 7 Ventures, which operates on an innovative cooperative ecosystem model. Prior experience includes leadership roles at UC San Diego Jacobs School of Engineering, where Lon was Executive Director of the Veteran Forge program and Director for Corporate Research Partnerships. Additionally, Lon served as President of Catapult Services, a systems integration company aligned with Level 7 Ventures. Educational background consists of a BS in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix and an MS (on hold) in Systems Architecture and Engineering from the University of Southern California.
