Matt Wren

Matt Wren is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in the financial services sector. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Allspring Global Investments since February 2022, Matt previously held the position of Global Head of Investment Technology at BlackRock from December 2009 until December 2020. Prior to that, Matt was the Global Head of Fixed Income Technology at Barclays for over a decade, from June 1998 to December 2009. Matt Wren holds a Master of Business Administration from Bayes Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours from the University of Auckland.
