Venkateshwar Lal

Venkateshwar Lal possesses extensive experience in investment risk management and strategy, having served as Head of Investment Risk and Strategy and Co-Portfolio Manager at Allspring Global Investments from 2007 to 2012, where achievements included significant AUM growth and the establishment of a successful team culture. As a founding partner at EverKey Global, Venkateshwar led risk management and trading initiatives, greatly outperforming global equities and successfully negotiating a sale to Wells Fargo Asset Management. Previous roles include Executive Director at Morgan Stanley within global equity swaps trading, where Venkateshwar created profitable macro investments and equity solutions, as well as leadership positions in equity derivatives and institutional equity arbitrage. Venkateshwar began a finance career as a Financial Analyst at Goldman Sachs, providing critical M&A and corporate finance services. Venkateshwar holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and an AB from Princeton University.
