Ellen Gowland has extensive work experience in the legal field. Ellen began their career in 2001 as an Associate Lawyer at Aronovitch Macaulay Rollo LLP, where they worked until 2010. During this time, they gained valuable experience in litigation. In 2010, they joined Allstate Canada as a Litigation Counsel and later took on the role of Director, Corporate & Claims Litigation. Ellen continued to work for Allstate in a similar capacity when they joined Allstate in 2018 as the Director of Claims Litigation.
Ellen Gowland earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from York University. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree at York University's Osgoode Hall Law School, completing it within the years 1997 to 2000.
