Samantha Wainberg

Samantha Wainberg is an experienced professional in arts management and social impact, currently serving as the Manager of Social Impact & The Allstate Foundation of Canada at Allstate Canada since March 2019. Prior experience includes serving as the Executive Director of the York Region Arts Council from June 2011 to March 2019, where responsibilities encompassed leading operations, strategic direction, and ensuring financial sustainability through diverse revenue streams. Additional roles within the York Region Arts Council included Associate Director and Arts Administrator & Social Media Lead, focusing on program development, community relations, and digital communication strategies. Samantha holds a degree from the Schulich School of Business - York University and a BFA in Visual Arts from York University, alongside participation in the Independent Studio Program at the Toronto School of Art.
