Derek Lane

Derek Lane has been in the software engineering industry since 2004. Derek began their career as a Coldfusion Developer at Terradigm, Inc. in 2004. After that, they worked as a SharePoint and Coldfusion Developer at Diligent Consulting from 2008 to 2010. In 2010, they joined Northrop Grumman Information Systems as an Application Developer, Software Engineer 3, and System Engineer. In 2011, they moved to Avanade as a Senior Consultant. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as a Senior .NET Software Engineer at Sotera Defense Solutions, Inc., building applications in MVC 5 and Web API 2, and supporting an application built with ASP. NET and Framework 4. In 2019, they joined ValidaTek, Inc. as a Senior Software Architect.

Derek Lane obtained their BBA in Management of Information Systems from the UNM Anderson School of Management between 1997 and 1999. Prior to this, they obtained their high school diploma from Farmington High School between 1990 and 1993. In October 2008, they earned a Network + certification from CompTIA.
