Performance Engineering Consultant and Splunk Development at Alltech International

Terry Cooper has worked in the IT field for over 40 years. Terry began their career in 1980 as an I.T. Data Center Manager for Millennium Chemicals. In 1998, they became a Consultant for ITX Consulting Inc., specializing in project management of complex I.T. server and network infrastructure projects. In 2000, they joined IBM as a Consulting I.T. Specialist, performing performance analysis of website infrastructures and simulation modeling and capacity planning for server, storage and network infrastructures. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as a Capacity Planning Consultant for Sharp Decisions and CTG - Computer Task Group. In 2016, they became a Capacity Planning Consultant for Artech Information Systems. In 2017, they joined Alltech International, Inc. as a Performance Engineering Consultant and Splunk Developer. Terry is currently employed by Cooper Spring Services Inc. as an Application Performance Management and Capacity Planning Consultant, specializing in Capacity and Performance Management Repository Design Utilizing Splunk, Server and Application Performance Modeling Utilizing Simulation Modeling and Queue Modeling, Server and Application Statistical Forecasting, Splunk Architecture, Splunk Data Analytics, Dashboard/Report Development, and Splunk Administration.

Terry Cooper attended the University of Kentucky from 1972 to 1976, earning a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
