Emma Majercak's work experience is as follows:

1. Alltrna:

- Research Associate II, Stem Cell Biology, Pharmacology and Disease Models (June 2023 - Present)

2. Boston Children's Hospital:

- Research Assistant II (June 2022 - June 2023)

- Research Assistant I (June 2021 - June 2022)

- Worked in the Neurosurgery department of BCH in the Tang Lab.

- Used CRISPR/Cas9 technology to genetically modify human pluripotent stem cells for projects related to neurodevelopmental disorders and neuro-oncology.

- Led a project using human cortical organoids to study microglia and the tumor microenvironment.

3. Whitehead Institute:

- Undergraduate Research Assistant (June 2019 - February 2021)

- Conducted research in the Jaenisch Lab focusing on drug discovery for developmental diseases like Rhett syndrome and autism spectrum disorder.

- Utilized molecular biology techniques, performed cell culture on hESCs and mESCs, and utilized CRISPR for cell editing.

4. MIT Computational Psycholinguistics Lab:

- Contributed to and compiled eyetracking data to analyze English proficiency in ESL participants based on eye movements in reading.

- Became an expert in operating and calibrating EyeLink eyetracking equipment.
