Sugato De has a strong background in regulatory strategy, technical consulting, and biomedical engineering in the medical technology industry. Sugato held roles at prestigious organizations such as Allucent, PAREXEL, FDA, and Stryker. Starting as a Project Associate at Stryker in 2007, they advanced to positions at the FDA, including Senior Policy Advisor and Biomedical Engineer. From 2016, they transitioned to PAREXEL, serving as Principal Consultant and Vice President, before joining Allucent as Vice President of Regulatory Strategy, overseeing MedTech operations.

Sugato De completed a Bachelor's Degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 2003 to 2007. Sugato then went on to earn a Master's Degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University from 2008 to 2010.
