Tim Koopman

Tim Koopman has diverse experience in business development, research, and academia. Tim started as a Student Board Member in the International Student Congress of (bio) Medical Sciences, eventually moving on to roles such as Scientific Research Intern, Business Developer, and Business Development Manager in various organizations. Currently, they hold the position of Business Development Associate Director at Allucent, focusing on delivering novel therapies to patients with unmet needs in the biopharma industry. Tim'sexpertise lies in market expansion strategies, scientific research, and fostering international relations.

Tim Koopman completed their pre-university education at OSG Sevenwolden Heerenveen from 2004 to 2010. Tim then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biology with a major in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Groningen from 2010 to 2014. Following this, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Biomedical Sciences, Science+ Business and Policy from the University of Groningen from 2014 to 2016. In 2015, they also completed an Honours Master Programme in "Leadership, making the difference" at the University of Groningen.
