Walter van Uytven

Walter Van Uytven has a diverse work experience spanning various leadership roles in the technology industry.

Walter is currently serving as the SVP Global Technology Sales at Alludo since June 2022.

Prior to that, they held the position of President Belux Chapter at IAMCP BELUX-The connection to Microsoft from December 2017 to June 2022. In this role, they represented Microsoft's best partners globally, developed partner-to-partner business opportunities, and accelerated growth.

From March 2014 to June 2022, Walter Van Uytven was the CEO of Awingu, a company acquired by Corel Corporation. Awingu specializes in software development to simplify enterprise mobility and liberate legacy applications.

Walter was the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Netwerk Ondernemen from May 2018 to June 2020 and a Member of the Board of Directors from May 2017 to June 2020. Netwerk Ondernemen is a network of experienced entrepreneurs that provides coaching and networking opportunities to scale-up companies.

Walter Van Uytven also served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Proximus ICT-Expert Community from October 2010 to June 2014, and as a Member of the Board of Directors at ClearMedia from July 2010 to June 2014.

In addition, they held the position of Member of the Board of Directors at Euronics Belgium, a commercial organization supporting its members in acquisitions, marketing, logistics, and sales. Walter served in this role from September 2009 to June 2014.

Walter Van Uytven worked at Belgacom in various roles from August 2009 to February 2014. Walter served as the Cloud Director and later as the Director IT SME Market - ICT Channels. Walter played a key role in driving the company's cloud strategy and managing the IT SME Market and ICT Channels.

Before joining Belgacom, Walter Van Uytven was the CEO of Proximus SpearIT (formerly Belgacom Bridging ICT) from July 2010 to February 2014. Proximus SpearIT provides scalable and affordable ICT solutions for SMEs and midmarket customers.

Prior to their roles at Belgacom and Proximus SpearIT, they were the Chairman and CEO of BIASS (Belgian Informatics Association) from May 2002 to August 2009.

Walter Van Uytven pursued their education at various institutions. In 1988, they attended Katholieke Hogeschool Leuven and completed their Bachelor's degree in Informatica in 1989. Later, in 2004, Walter enrolled at Vlerick Business School and completed a program in Advanced Management in 2005.
