Sahan Jayasumana

Sahan Jayasumana has a long history of working in the software engineering industry. Sahan began their career in 2007 as an intern at Intel. In 2009, they worked as a Policy Debate Coach at The Marist School. In 2011, they worked as a Debate Coach at Poudre High School. In 2013, they were a Programmer Analyst Intern at Staples. In 2014, they were an Associate Software Application Engineer at Charles Schwab and a REU-Distributed Computing Group at Colorado State University. In 2015, they were a Software and Gamification Engineer at BillHero. In 2016, they were a Software Engineer at Tendril. In 2018, they were a Sr Software Engineer at BillGO. Most recently, they have been a Senior Software Engineer at Allure Security since 2022.

Sahan Jayasumana has an extensive educational background. Sahan obtained a Bachelor of Science in International Affairs from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2012. In 2016, they earned an MCS in Computer Science from Colorado State University. Sahan is currently enrolled in a Certificate program in Ethical Hacking at the University of Washington, which they are expected to complete in 2021. Sahan has also completed three Coursera courses, Gamification, People Analytics, and Software Processes and Agile Practices, and attended FCHS.
