Marco Burger

Marco Burger has a diverse work experience in engineering and management roles in the medical technology industry. Marco is currently working as the Director of Engineering at Allurion Technologies since 2022. Prior to this, they held various positions at Fresenius Medical Care, including Senior Manager Engineering NPI, Senior Engineering Manager NPI, and Senior Manager Manufacturing Engineering from 2016 to 2022. Marco also served as the Senior Expert Engineering Change Management, Manager Engineering Change Management, and Technical Expert at Fresenius Medical Care from 2008 to 2016.

Marco Burger attended the University of Applied Science FH Schweinfurt - Wuerzburg, Germany from 2002 to 2006. Marco studied Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering as well as Mechanical Engineering. Marco then went on to attend Städt. Gewerbl. BBZ I Würzburg - Franz-Oberthür-Schule from 2006 to 2008, where they obtained a State Certified Engineer degree (equivalent to a B.Eng.) in Mechanical Engineering.
