Sompurna Choudhury

Sompurna Choudhury is a skilled Research and Development Engineer at Allurion Technologies since August 2022, with prior experience as an Access Impella Design Co-op at Abiomed and a Biomechanics Lab Co-op at Stryker. Sompurna also served as a Teaching Assistant at Northeastern University’s First Year Engineering Learning and Innovation Center and completed an Engineering Co-op at LexaGene. Earlier professional experience includes working as a Lifeguard and Swim Instructor at the YMCA of Greater Boston. Sompurna Choudhury holds a Master of Science in Bioengineering and a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering, both from Northeastern University, along with a High School Diploma from Hillsborough High School.
