Alastair Ruxton

Alastair Ruxton is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategic leadership and corporate affairs within the sports and entertainment sectors. Currently serving as Chief Strategy and Corporate Affairs Director for Allwyn UK since June 2020, Ruxton successfully led the bid for the Fourth National Lottery Licence. Previous roles include Non-Executive Director at the Ladies European Tour and Managing Director at Polygon Events, where strategic advice was provided for significant events like the Japan Rugby World Cup 2019. As COO and Managing Director at Falcon and Associates, Ruxton managed operations and marketing for various events promoting Dubai. Ruxton’s experience also encompasses a tenure at the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, where legal oversight and competition management were key responsibilities. Earlier legal experiences at Olswang and Slaughter and May contributed to a strong foundation in corporate law, following a solid academic background in Classics from Lincoln College, Oxford, and legal studies at The College of Law.
