Sam Donegan has a diverse work experience. In 2017, they completed their medical internship at Western Health, where they rotated through Psychiatry, Emergency Medicine, Hepatobiliary Surgery, and General Medicine. In 2018, Sam became a Co-Founder at Fora - Allied Health Teams and an Entrepreneurship Fellow at Monash University.

Sam Donegan pursued their education from 2009 to 2011 at Monash University, where they completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science. This degree focused on the general field of Biomedical Sciences. Subsequently, from 2012 to 2016, Sam attended the University of Melbourne, where they obtained a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree, specializing in Healthcare.
