Alma del Mar Charter School
Brittney Sousa-LePage is an experienced educator currently serving as a 7th Grade Humanities Teacher and Middle School Academic Dean at Alma Del Mar Charter School since July 2013. Responsibilities include teaching, curriculum planning, supervising teachers, leading professional development, and participating in leadership teams. Previous roles at the same institution include Dean of Culture and Fourth Grade Literacy Lead. Brittney has also contributed as a Teach for America Alumni Fellow, mentoring new corps members, and has experience as a general education teacher at Window Rock Unified School District, a Development Fellow with Teach for America, and an Assistant Residential Teacher at The May Institute. Brittney holds a Master's degree in Teaching and Curriculum from Boston University and a Bachelor's degree in Holocaust and Genocide Studies/Sociology from Keene State College.
