Margaret Carvalho

Ms. Carvalho is a Fall River native and a graduate of Lasell College. During her time in Teach for America, she taught fourth grade to some of New Bedford’s most promising young students. Most recently, she worked with a wonderful classroom of second graders in Boston Public Schools. Ms. Carvalho earned her Master’s degree in education at Boston University with a focus on curriculum and teaching. She loves getting to work with students in the region where she grew up and is passionate about education in Massachusetts. Ms. Carvalho spends her after-school time reading and playing outside, fueled by massive quantities of coffee.
