Johnny Reveco Arias

Johnny Reveco Arias has a diverse work experience, starting in 1996 as a Teaching Assistant at Universidad de Concepcion. Johnny then worked as a Software Engineer at Sixbell from 2003 to 2005. Following that, they joined the European Southern Observatory as a Software Engineer from 2005 to 2008. Since 2008, they have been working at Observatorio ALMA, first as a Senior Software Engineer and currently as the Support & Diagnostics Lead. In this role, they coordinate daily software operation tasks, prioritizes activities, and defines policies and workflows for internal and external interactions.

Johnny Reveco Arias attended the Universidad de Concepción from 1996 to 2003, where they obtained a degree in Ingeniero Civil Electrónico with a focus on Computación Científica and Sistemas Digitales. In addition, they have acquired various certifications related to team management, collaboration, feedback, recognition, employee development, cross-cultural communication, and effective communication. These certifications were obtained from LinkedIn in the year 2020.
