Louis Diez

VP, Community at Almabase

Louis Diez has held various roles in the fields of development and music since 2010. Louis began their career as a Section Viola for the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra in 2010. In 2012, they moved to the University of Tennessee, where they held the role of Annual Giving and Stewardship Coordinator. In 2014, they became the Director of the Maryville Fund at Maryville College. In 2015, they were appointed Associate Director Of Development at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. In 2017, they moved to the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra as Director of the Annual Fund and Development Operations. In 2019, they were appointed Executive Director, Annual Giving at Muhlenberg College. Louis is currently VP, Community at Almabase, a position they have held since 2022.

Louis Diez obtained their Bachelor's degree in Music Performance, Viola from Hanzehogeschool Groningen / Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen between 2004 and 2008. Louis then went on to obtain their BBA and MBA in Finance from CUNEF between 2001 and 2006. Louis followed this up with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Business Administration and Management, General from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos between 2006 and 2010. Lastly, they obtained a Master of Music in Music Performance, Viola from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville between 2010 and 2012.
