Ammar Said Suliman

Ammar Said Suliman has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry and academia. Ammar started their career as the Head of the Antibiotic Division at Medico Lab in 2007, where they supervised the production process and trained employees. Ammar then moved to the Head of the Suppositories Division role at the same company in 2009, where they had similar responsibilities.

In 2013, Ammar joined the University of Sunderland as an Academic Tutor. During their time there, they mentored MSc projects, taught various pharmaceutical science courses, and led seminars on research skills and design of experiments. Ammar also assisted in laboratory experiments and provided guidance to PhD students.

In 2016, Ammar worked as a Physical Chemistry Scientist at Pfizer, focusing on patent parentral formulation development and surface dissolution imaging for anticancer drugs. Ammar also conducted pH-solubility profiles using HPLC and pKa determination.

In 2018, they became a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Anglia Ruskin University, where they conducted interdisciplinary research on developing nanomedicine delivery systems for treating cancer. Ammar also taught interfacial phenomena and principles of rheology to students.
