Colin O'Dowd

Colin O'Dowd has over 13 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Colin is currently the Vice President of Medicinal Chemistry at Almac Discovery, where they manage both the medicinal chemistry and ADMET groups. Prior to that role, they served as the Director of Medicinal Chemistry and Senior Team Leader - Medicinal Chemistry at the same company. Colin has also worked as a Team Leader and Senior Chemist. Additionally, Colin holds the position of Honorary Lecturer in Medicine, Dentistry, and Biomedical Sciences at Queen's University Belfast.

Colin O'Dowd earned a BSc (Hons) degree in Chemistry from The University of Edinburgh from 1992 to 1996. Later, they completed a PhD in Organic Chemistry at Queen's University Belfast from 1996 to 2000.
