Sankara Rao is a seasoned professional in the dairy industry with extensive experience in research and development, quality assurance, and product development. Currently serving as Pilot Plant Manager in the R&D department at Almarai since November 2014, Sankara's responsibilities include executing laboratory, pilot plant, and production trials. Prior roles at Almarai included Senior Product Development Technologist and Dairy Technologist, focusing on operations and standard procedures. Before joining Almarai, Sankara worked at Heritage Foods Limited as an Executive in Quality Assurance and Product Development, ensuring compliance with quality standards throughout the production process. The career began with an internship at GDMPCU Ltd.-Sangam Dairy, gaining hands-on experience across various departments. Sankara holds a Master of Technology in Dairy Microbiology from the National Dairy Research Institute and a Bachelor of Technology in Dairy Technology from Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University.
