Aleksandr A.

Aleksandr A. is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in venture capital and technology, currently serving as a Venture Partner at Almaz Capital since January 2017, focusing on helping CEE/Baltic startups expand globally. As a co-founder and board member of ShelfMatch LLC since June 2019, Aleksandr has contributed to developing automated retail solutions. In addition, Aleksandr co-founded Lektorium.tv, a leading online education platform in the Russian language, and played a pivotal role as founder and CEO of SoftJoys, a deep tech software company with significant user engagement. Previous roles include being a board member of RUSSOFT and a founder at SJ Labs, which pioneered mobile VOIP services. Academically, Aleksandr has served as an assistant professor at the Saint Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation and holds both an MS in Physics and a PhD in Electrical Engineering from prestigious institutions.
