Dr. Andrew Hustrulid

Dr. Andrew Hustrulid has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Dr. Andrew started their career as a Project Engineer at BMT WBM in 1992 and then worked as a Researcher at LKAB in 1995. Dr. Andrew later joined the Colorado School of Mines as an Assistant Professor in 1998. In 1999, they became the VP of Marketing and Application Engineering at Fenner Dunlop Americas. Dr. Andrew then worked as a Senior Engineer at Overland Conveyor Company from 1996 to 1999.

Dr. Hustrulid's career continued to progress as they founded their own company, Hustrulid Technologies Inc., in 2005. Dr. Andrew also served as the Managing Director at Conveyor Services Corp. from 2005 to 2007, where they successfully established a service operation in Chile and led the creation of a market-changing service operation. Dr. Andrew then joined Sandvik in 2007, where they held several roles including Service Manager, GPLM, Engineering Manager, and R&D Manager until 2013.

In 2014, Dr. Hustrulid became the Senior Vice President Global Services at Almex Group. Dr. Andrew also served as the COO and HTO of Semperit AG's Sempertrans USA from 2017 to 2017.

Throughout their career, Dr. Andrew Hustrulid has gained extensive experience in various leadership, engineering, research, and teaching roles in the mining, manufacturing, and conveyor industries.

Dr. Andrew Hustrulid earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Colorado School of Mines in 1989. Dr. Andrew then went on to complete a Master of Science degree in Applied Mechanics from the same institution in 1993. In 1997, they obtained a PhD in Engineering Systems from Colorado School of Mines. Dr. Hustrulid furthered their education by attending Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management in 2004-2005, where they completed an Executive Management Program and earned an MBA. Prior to their college education, they graduated from Evergreen High School in 1989.
