Ester Guiu

Ester Guiu has a diverse work experience background. Ester started their career as an Investigador at Universitat Rovira i Virgili from 1999 to 2003. Ester then worked as a Post-doctoral Researcher at Technische Universiteit Eindhoven in 2004 and the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Physiology from 2004 to 2006. Ester then moved on to Farmaprojects as an R&D technical specialist from 2006 to 2009. Ester joined Polpharma as a Biopharmaceuticals Portfolio Manager from 2009 to 2011. Currently, they are working at Almirall, where they have held various roles including Director of Business & Launch Excellence and Director of Corporate Project Management Office, PMO.

Ester Guiu holds a Licenciatura in Ciencias Químicas from Universitat Rovira i Virgili. Ester later obtained a D.E.A. and a Doctora in Química orgánica y organometálica from the same university. In 2007-2009, Ester completed their MBA at Esade. Ester continued their education at Esade with the Advance Leadership Program in 2020 and the Almirall Digital Garden - Second Harvest program in 2021. In 2023, they completed the FLOW Leadership program (Almirall in company Executive Program) at Esade.
