Marta Garcia Torres

Marta Garcia Torres has a strong background in corporate development and strategy, with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances, and integration. Marta started their career at HP as a Global Marketing Trainee before moving on to DC Advisory, where they worked in various roles in investment banking. Marta then joined Almirall, where they held positions such as Corporate Development and Finance Manager, Head of M&A, and VP of Corporate Development and Strategy. Marta'sresponsibilities included managing alliances, partnerships, and strategic transactions.

Marta Garcia Torres completed their Bachelor in Business Administration and MBA at Esade from 1997 to 2002. Marta then pursued an MBA International Exchange in Strategy, Entrepreneurship, and Finance at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2002. In 2013, Marta attended the Leadership Programme at INSEAD. Marta furthered their education by completing the Corporate Venturing in Pharma program at IESE Business School in 2016. Most recently, from 2021 to 2022, Marta completed the PDG (Programa de Dirección General) at IESE Business School.
