Robert Soliva

Robert Soliva started their career as a Product Manager at Corning Incorporated in 1994 before moving on to a similar role at Biosystems S.A. in 1995. Robert then transitioned into roles focused on computational chemistry at Uriach as a Senior Scientist and later at Palau Pharma as the Head of Computational Chemistry. From 2010 to 2016, Robert worked as an IP Advisor at ZBM Patents & Trademarks before founding Nostrum Biodiscovery, where they served as Founder/CEO and later as Founder/Chief Scientific Officer. Robert then joined Oryzon in 2020 as the Head of Drug Discovery, overseeing a team of scientists and technicians. In 2023, Robert joined Almirall as a Principal Data Scientist.

Robert Soliva earned their BSc in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from Universitat de Barcelona in 1992. Robert later went on to obtain their PhD in Macromolecular structure and simulation from the same university in 2001. In 2017, they participated in a program at CaixaImpulse focused on a simulation platform for enzyme engineering (PELE-e).
