Arvind Konar

Arvind Konar has over 20 years of experience in the finance industry. Arvind began their career in 1994 as the Head of Corporate Finance at Nicco Uco Alliance Credit, where they led a team and was responsible for marketing and executing leasing and hire-purchase deals with corporate clients. In 1998, they joined SREI as part of the Treasury/Dealing team, where they dealt with government securities and bonds and expanded the client base. In 2001, Arvind joined Almondz Global Securities Ltd as the Head of Fixed Income, where they successfully built and managed a premier non-bank bond trading division. Arvind currently heads a team of 30 sales traders and runs a proprietary book of bonds worth INR 25 billion.

Arvind Konar completed their MBA in Finance from an undisclosed institution in 1993. In 2018, they passed the Limited Insolvency Exam by the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India, gaining knowledge in Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code. Additionally, they also passed the Registered Valuation Exam by the same board, specializing in Securities and Financial Assets. In 2020, Arvind Konar successfully passed the Assessment test for Independent Director's Databank at the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs.
