Hussein Matar

Hussein Matar is an accomplished professional in business development and corporate strategy, with extensive experience in the oil and gas sector. Currently serving as Senior Director of Business Development for the Middle East and Africa at AMEA Power since January 2016, Hussein also holds a similar senior director role in Oil & Gas, Power, and OFS Corporate Strategy at AlNowais Investments since September 2012. Prior experience includes positions in strategy and business development at Abu Dhabi Basic Industries Corporation (ADBIC), strategic planning at Hess Corporation, and consulting for oil and gas at Deloitte. Hussein holds an Integrated Bachelor's and Master's Degree (MEng) in Petroleum Engineering from Imperial College London and an MSc in Energy Studies from the University of Dundee.
