Elvis J. Alonso

Elvis J. Alonso possesses extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Vice President of Research and Early Development Operations at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals since August 2017, Elvis has held various roles including Senior Director and Director within the same department. Prior to Alnylam, Elvis contributed to Moderna Therapeutics as Director of Research Operations, and Takeda Pharmaceuticals as Associate Director of Discovery Operations. Earlier career highlights include strategic consulting for Baxter International Inc. and delivering comprehensive marketing strategies as Senior Manager of Global Marketing - Vaccines. Elvis also has a strong foundation in oncology research from positions at Millennium Pharmaceuticals and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
