Jason Valenta is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategic technologies and manufacturing operations in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as the Sr. Director of Strategic Technologies at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals since April 2022, Jason previously held leadership positions at Sanofi, where roles included Director of Global Manufacturing Industrial Shop Floor and Engineering Asset Management, as well as Director of Global Manufacturing Industrial Shop Floor Automation at Sanofi Genzyme. Prior to that, Jason worked as a Sr. Manager at MannKind Corporation, overseeing Engineering, Facilities, and Manufacturing Systems IT, and as a Senior Applications Engineer at Process Automation Solutions BE-NL. Education includes an MBA from Western Connecticut State University and a BS in Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology, along with a Certificate for Executives in Management, Innovation, Strategy, and Leadership from MIT Sloan Executive Education, which is expected to be completed in April 2024.
