Lubo Nechev

Lubo Nechev is a seasoned professional in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Senior Vice President of CMC Development at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals since March 2004. Over the years, Lubo has held various key positions at Alnylam, including Vice President of Process and Analytical Sciences, Vice President of Process Sciences, Senior Director of Process Chemistry, Director of Process Chemistry, and Associate Director of Process Chemistry. Prior to joining Alnylam, Lubo worked as a Senior Scientist at Transgenomic and as Scientist II at Ribozyme Pharmaceuticals Inc. Lubo holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Vanderbilt University and has a solid educational foundation from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski.
