Mahesh K. Tawney

Mahesh K. Tawney, Pharm.D., MBA, MSPharm, currently serves as Senior Director of Medical Outcomes Science Liaisons at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, leading a team focused on scientific strategy and stakeholder engagement to enhance product access. Tawney has advanced through multiple roles at Alnylam since June 2018, including Director and Preceptorship US Medical Director for Lumasiran, where a comprehensive US launch plan for OXLUMO was developed. Previous experience includes positions at Eli Lilly and Company as a Real World Outcomes Liaison and at Daiichi Sankyo, where Tawney transitioned from Senior Medical Science Liaison to Senior Health Outcomes Liaison, establishing key relationships with external leaders and decision-makers.
