The Asset Protection Analyst role will be based out the Beverly Hills headquarters and will provide support to the Asset Protection team. You will help support, lead, and maximize all aspects of the Asset Protection function for Alo sanctuaries. In this new role, you will use proven methodologies, new technological advances, and data analysis, in combination with a relentless pursuit of excellence to strategically execute a customized Asset Protection program to fully support the Alo vision and brand expansion.  

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Analyze and interpret raw data to identify trends and insights relevant to asset protection strategies.
  • Utilize company reporting platforms to conduct exception-based reporting, identify outliers, and create actionable insights.
  • Oversee all AP-specific coordination, including new hires, terminations, promotions, and mentorship programs.
  • Maintain a central database for AP-related information, such as policies and procedures, training materials, and AP equipment.
  • Develop and maintain detailed reports and dashboards using Excel and other tools (e.g., Smartsheet, PowerPoint).
  • Provide organizational support for AP team.
  • Build and maintain an Asset Protection dashboard.
  • Source market specific requirements and resources for Asset Protection function globally.
  • Partner with IT to facilitate hardware setup, access grants, and equipment recovery for AP teams.
  • Organize and coordinate recurring calls, quarterly meetings, field team visits, and other virtual or in-person AP department events.
  • Support planning and execution phases for key 2025 AP Strategic Objectives.
  • Own the budget for AP equipment and safe process management, ensuring accurate inventory and cost control.
  • Draft and process purchase orders (POs) for AP-related procurement.
  • Oversee the engagement budget and support contract security guard coordination when required.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including Operations, Retal Leadership, Humar Resources, Store and Store Construction.
  • Partner with AP’s HR Business Partner and Recruiter to ensure smooth operations for AP field personnel.
  • Report on business KPIs and present findings to directors, VPs, and other stakeholders.
  • Draft and maintain training materials for AP processes.
  • Provide ad hoc support to field teams for resolving AP-related issues.

REQUIREMENTS 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Strong desire and ability to learn new skills and best practices on an ongoing basis.
  • Proven experience in loss prevention, security, or investigations, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in using surveillance systems and investigative tools.
  • Proficient computer skills including asset protection applications, MS Office (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, OneNote, and PowerPoint), and store systems such as RFID, and Shopify.
  • Must be comfortable working in an independent manner, able to multi-task, be flexible with and embrace change prioritizing the needs of the business.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality.
  • May involve some physical activity, including lifting and moving merchandise.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 30lbs.
  • Proficiency in data platforms such as Excel, Smartsheet, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Effective communicator with experience in cross-functional collaboration.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining data integrity and accuracy.

The base salary range for this position is $75,000-$85,000 per year, which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
