Dede Wakefield's work experience began in 1994 as a Senior Financial Analyst at Dun & Bradstreet Software. In 1997, they became a Senior Manager of Finance at Xcellenet until 2000. From 2000 to 2008, Dede held various VP of Finance roles at Fiserv. Dede then joined Global Payments in 2009 as VP of Corporate Finance and later became the Senior Vice President of Finance from 2010 to 2014. Dede served as the Chief Financial Officer at GT Nexus from 2014 to 2016, and they are currently the CEO of Alogent, starting in June 2016.
Dede Wakefield pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Mathematics and Economics from Agnes Scott College. Dede attended Agnes Scott College from 1989 to 1993. After obtaining their undergraduate degree, Dede Wakefield went on to earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in International Business and Finance from Georgia State University. Dede completed their MBA program at Georgia State University from 1993 to 1995.
