Joshua Smith is a seasoned software engineering leader with extensive experience in managing teams and technology processes across multiple companies. Currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering at Aloha since December 2024, previous roles include Vice President of Software Engineering at ChartSpan Medical Technologies, where responsibilities included overseeing offshore and onshore teams and implementing rigorous software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies. Joshua has a strong background in full stack development, having built multi-tenant SaaS solutions utilizing technologies like React and AWS serverless services. Prior positions span various engineering roles, including work on customer acquisition platforms, payment processing systems, tracking integrations, and e-commerce solutions, showcasing a breadth of expertise in both management and technical execution.
