Laurie Swanson

Laurie Swanson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Laurie currently works as the Director of Revenue Cycle at Alomere Health since April 2018. Prior to that, Laurie was a Member of AAHAM since February 2015. Laurie also served as a Board Member for HFMA - Minnesota Chapter from June 2020 to May 2022. Laurie has previous experience as a Patient Account Manager Clinics at Douglas County Hospital from October 2012 to April 2018. Laurie worked as an Implementation Specialist at NASA from August 2011 to October 2012. Before that, Laurie was a Software Implementation Specialist at Healthland from May 2005 to December 2009. Laurie has also worked as a Patient Account Representative at Innovis Hospital from May 2001 to May 2005. Furthermore, Laurie has experience in various roles at Dakota Clinic, including Business Office from May 1998 to May 2001, and Patient Access Specialist from October 1996 to May 1998. Their earlier work experience includes being a Laboratory Assistant Phlebotomy/Microbiology at Dakota Clinic from October 1993 to September 1995, and a Retail Specialist at Walgreens from January 1992 to October 1993.

Laurie Swanson holds a bachelor of science degree in Microbiology, General from North Dakota State University. Laurie attended the university from 1991 to 1997. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the following: TeamStepps Master Trainer certification from the American Hospital Association in June 2022, HFMA's Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) certification from the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) in May 2022, and CRCS certification from AAHAM - The American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management in February 2015.
