Kathy Mata

Kathy Mata is a seasoned ballet educator and director with extensive experience in dance. Since April 1995, Kathy Mata has served as a Ballet Teacher at Alonzo King's LINES Ballet, where a certification in dance education is held. In addition, Kathy Mata has directed Kathy Mata Ballet since October 1988, overseeing the production of multiple performances each year that feature a variety of dance styles and collaborate with diverse dancers, choreographers, and live musicians. Kathy Mata's educational background includes training at the San Francisco Ballet School (1969-1972) and the Royal Academy of Dance in London (1962-1966).
