Akshay Mahesh has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Akshay started their career as a Junior Engineer at Sree Vinayaga Industries, where they were responsible for planning and executing the production line, analyzing production audit reports, ensuring product quality, and handling engineering maintenance, logistics, and administrative tasks. Akshay then joined Technocraft Industries India Ltd as a New Product Development Manager. In this role, they created a portfolio of new projects, developed a cross-functional strategy, and managed a team. Akshay utilized various tools and techniques such as Lean Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, and CAD to improve quality and effectiveness. After that, they worked as a Business Developer at Leyton, where they fully managed the sales process for the American market, developed a commercial strategy, and identified strategic accounts and decision-makers. Currently, they are a Project Business Analyst at Waysia (ex Alorsfaim), where they monitor and reports project progress, analyzes business processes and requirements, and collaborates with procurement and supply chain teams to manage suppliers for mechanical engineering projects.

Akshay Mahesh completed their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kerala University, Thiruvananthapuram, from 2012 to 2016. Akshay then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in International Business from EMLV - École de Management Léonard de Vinci from 2021 to 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Akshay Mahesh obtained several certifications. These include Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Sam Yankelevitch's LinkedIn Learning Courses in December 2021, Advanced Google Analytics from Google Analytics in November 2021, and Project Management Professional (PMP) from Google in November 2021. Akshay also acquired certifications in Corporate Financial Planning Analyst from IIBA in July 2021, Business Analyst from LinkedIn Online Training Courses in April 2021, Word 2007 Expert from Office 365 Community in May 2020, Excel Associate - Office 365 from Excel_Trainer in April 2020, SOLIDWORKS 2016 Essential Training from Solidworks in April 2020, and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) from the National Skill Development Corporation in September 2019.
