Thomas Cochrane is a seasoned labor relations attorney with extensive experience in various roles, currently serving as Senior Labor Relations Counsel at the Air Line Pilots Association since October 2021. Previous positions include General Counsel for IUE-CWA, Associate General Counsel at OCSEA, and Director of Labor Relations for the Ohio Nurses Association. Thomas has also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Ohio Northern University, teaching Labor Law. Thomas's earlier legal career involved representing labor unions in arbitration at McCroskey Law, and serving as General Counsel for the United Brotherhood of Carpenters. Thomas began professional endeavors as a Research Officer with the Methodist Church of Southern Africa during the liberation struggle. Educational credentials include a JD in labor law from the University of Michigan Law School and a BA summa cum laude in history and public service from Albion College.
