Hitoshi Harada is a co-founder and CPO at Alpaca, a trading platform and broker-dealer specializing in algo trading and investment automation technologies. Harada has a background in database architecture, contributing to projects such as PostgreSQL Global Development Group and Pivotal Inc. With experience as a Principal Software Engineer, Harada has worked on storage and transaction management in distributed relational database systems. Harada also served as the CTO at FORCIA, Inc. and underwent education at Y Combinator in 2019 and Keio University from 2001 to 2005.
