Keren Mikva is an experienced professional in environmental education and adventure leadership, currently serving as the Assistant Director at Alpengirl Adventure Camp since September 2023. Keren has previously worked with the Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership as a Capstone Partner, focusing on federal funding opportunities for ecosystem restoration. With a background as a Trip Leader at Backroads, a Whitewater Raft Guide at various companies, and a Snowboard Instructor, Keren has extensive outdoor leadership experience. Keren also has a history in community organizing from the role at Urban Upbound and leadership experience as the President of Stanford Habitat for Humanity. Keren holds a Master's degree in Sustainability Studies from the University of Colorado Boulder, a Master's degree in Environmental Education from Teton Science Schools, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Stanford University.

Alpengirl Adventure Camp
Alpengirl is an overnight summer adventure camp for pre-teen and teen girls. We offer a balanced mix of outdoor adventure, organic fitness and genuine friendship that allows each individual camper to blossom. Age & Experience: Adventurous girls ages 11-16 of all experience levels are welcome, no previous adventure camp experience needed. Duration & Location: 1 or 2 week overnight adventure camp sessions are offered in Washington, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming. Adventure Activities: Multi-adventure sessions include backpacking, horseback riding, whitewater rafting, sea kayaking, rock climbing, canoeing, surfing and more! Camp Lifestyle: Outdoor tent camping, daily yoga practice, self esteem development, friendship building, leadership opportunities, plus a deliciously healthy camp food menu are included during every camp session. No cabins or dining halls here, just the great outdoors! Small Groups: Our small, family-like groups are limited to 12 campers led by 2-3 female Alpenguides, creating a highly supervised 1:4 or 1:6 camper to staff ratio.
