Andrew Alpert

Andrew Alpert is a seasoned attorney with extensive experience in civil and criminal trial litigation in Maryland and Washington, DC. Currently a partner at Alpert Schreyer, LLC since August 2010, Andrew previously served as the owner of Meng & Alpert, LLC from August 2004 to October 2010, and was a partner at Urey & Alpert, LLC and Farmer, Welch & Alpert from July 2001 to August 2004 and July 1996 to July 2001, respectively. Andrew's legal career began as a litigation associate at Smith, Somerville & Chase, LLC, followed by a role as an Assistant State's Attorney in both the Charles County and Prince George's County Prosecutor's Offices, focusing on significant criminal cases, including drug offenses and violent crimes. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Arts from Franklin & Marshall College and a Juris Doctor from The George Washington University.
