Rachel Salt

Rachel Salt serves as the Trust HR & People Manager at Alpha Academies Trust since September 2023, bringing extensive HR expertise developed over a career spanning over 30 years. Previously, Rachel held the position of HR Officer at Stoke-on-Trent City Council from October 2018 to August 2023 and briefly at Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council in 2018. Prior to that, Rachel was a People Manager at Tesco for 17 years, focusing on performance support, coaching, culture change, and team development. Rachel holds degrees from the University of Staffordshire and the University of Wolverhampton.
