Richard Puthota

Richard Puthota has over 30 years of experience in the electronics industry. Richard is currently working as the Senior Director of Business Development at MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions since 2017. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Business Development at Alpha Assembly Solutions from 2003. Before that, they served as the Chief Quality Officer at NSP Electronics from 2002 to 2003. Richard also worked as the Engineering Manager at IEM Penang from 1998 to 2001 and as the Deputy Manager of Production at MS Hi-Tech Circuits Ltd from 1990 to 1997.

Richard Puthota's education history begins with their completion of a Higher Secondary degree in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry at Don Bosco from 1976 to 1982. Richard then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Process Technology at Osmania University from 1982 to 1985. Following that, they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Chemistry at Loyola College, Madras University from 1988 to 1989. Later, in 2010 and 2011, Richard attended the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, where they completed an Executive Education program in Advances in Business-to-Business Marketing (B2B Marketing), Business Analytics, and Intelligence.

In addition to their formal education, Richard Puthota has obtained certifications in Workplace Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Action from Skillsoft in October 2022 and Leadership Insights on Leading with Values & Ethics from Skillsoft in April 2020.
