Beth Newton

Beth Newton has been working in the marketing and content creation industry since 1995. Beth began their career as an Account Coordinator at SJI, Inc., then moved up to Account Manager and eventually VP, Promotion & Events. In 2004, Beth began freelancing as a writer for Beth M. Wood, LLC, creating and managing owned and shared media platforms for both B2B and B2C clients. From 2007 to 2015, they returned to SJI, Inc. as VP, Promotion & Events, launching the agency's online content initiative, creating an industry blog, and managing their social media presence.

In 2015, Beth joined SCORCH® as a Senior Content Strategist and Content Marketing Director, creating a Content Writing department and writing core content for a variety of tech brands. In 2018, they left SCORCH® to launch their own marketing agency, alpha | BRAVO, and returned to SCORCH® in 2021 as Chief Strategy Officer and Sr. Director of Strategy, LinkedIn. Beth is also a Member of Chief and an Official Member of Forbes Agency Council.

Beth Newton attended Webster University from 2002 to 2005, earning a BA in English with an emphasis in Professional Writing. Prior to that, they graduated from Ursuline Academy in 1990 with a High School Diploma in General Studies.
