Upendra Shardanand

Upendra Shardanand is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in insights generation, entrepreneurship, and technology leadership. Currently serving as the Director of Insights Generation at Alpha Edison and as the Founder of Protagonist, Shardanand has also held advisory roles at Bindle Systems and Help Remedies, where product innovation and healthcare solutions were priorities. As a member of the Loomis Council at The Stimson Center and through a self-employed consulting practice with NYMA, Shardanand focuses on developing new products, corporate development, and user research. Previous leadership includes CEO of Daylife, where the company flourished into a successful entity acquired by Newscred, and Director of Technology at Time Warner, where technology strategies and partnerships were key responsibilities. Shardanand holds a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
