Michael Waitz

Michael Waitz has extensive work experience in various roles. Michael currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at Alpha Epsilon Pi since August 2022. Prior to this, they served as the North American Director at Shorashim from April 2014 to September 2022. Before that, they had multiple roles at Alpha Epsilon Pi, including Director of Centennial Development from October 2010 to April 2014 and Director of Jewish & Philanthropy Programming from June 2009 to May 2011. Michael also worked as the Teen Program Director at Camp Chi, JCC from January 2008 to May 2009.

Michael Waitz completed a Certificate in Board Member Institute for Jewish Nonprofits from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management in 2018. In 2012, they also earned a Certificate in Jewish Leadership from Northwestern University/Spertus Institute. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's of Science degree in Management from DePaul University, which they completed between 2005 and 2009.
